16 Feb

The National Congress of American Indians is seeking to immediately hire a consultant or full-time, temporary General Project Manager by the end of February, for a project ending in July 2018.

NCAI works with the Department of the Interior’s (DOI) Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) Tribal/Interior Budget Council (TIBC) and it is implementing improvements to its budget formulation process. An assessment last year provided recommendations, which TIBC will be implementing this year for the next fiscal cycle. TIBC formed a Workgroup for the process and is seeking a consultant or Project Manager for this formulation project to help the Workgroup meet timelines and deliverables. The position will be supervised by NCAI, but working with both federal and tribal partners.

Desired experience includes project management qualifications (PMP preferred), knowledge of the federal budget process, project management software tools, and implementing quality improvement. Click here to see the full position description.
