The University of Tasmania (UTAS) is advertising for an Associate Professor/Senior Lecturer in Aboriginal Health Education. Based within the Faculty of Health, the University is seeking to appoint an outstanding leader to engage with Tasmania’s Aboriginal community organisations to contribute to teaching, assessment and clinical placements that enrich student learning and facilitate achievement of cultural competence. The appointee will strengthen the School’s focus on Aboriginal Health in the medicine and other health curricula in the School of Medicine and will work with others to further develop strategies to recruit Aboriginal students into the medical and health professions of the School.
