This year’s Critical Reading Group (CRG) offers NIRAKN members and Indigenous Higher Degree Research postgraduates an opportunity to gather in a collegial, safe and supportive environment to discuss critical works in Indigenous Studies. The essays and book chapters we will discuss offer:
- Exposure to Indigenous critical theory
- Critical engagement with Indigenous Scholarship
- Consideraton of the ways Indigenous critical theory might inform applied research
Spaces are limited to a mix of 20 Indigenous postgraduates and NIRAKN members (CIs). Costs for travel and accommodation will be organised by the NIRAKN hub for postgraduates and NIRAKN members.
**SPECIAL CONDITIONS** Registration for the CRG is free and open to NIRAKN Members and Australian Indigenous Post Graduates. Registration for these events is subject to review by the NIRAKN Academic Team and sucessful applications will be contacted with a confirmation of registration, travel arrangements and a mandatory book of readings.
